Position Summary

Under direct supervision,  is responsible for maintaining a clean environment and providing general assistance during monitoring and office hours.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in restocking the phlebotomy room and exam rooms- linen and supplies.
  • Clean and organize storage closets.
  • Set up for IUI procedures.
  • Prepare exam rooms between patients; clean and disinfect exam rooms.
  • Prepare ultrasound probe for examinations; apply ultrasound gel to probe(cover probes between sterilization).
  • Sterilize and clean instruments; deliver and pick up instruments to and from Central Sterile Supply.
  • Escorts patients to exam rooms if needed- with the direction of the Medical Assistant.
  • Transport blood specimens to the laboratory/ Coculture bloods and Coculture biopsy to M8.
  • Performs detailed cleaning of all facilities and equipment.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Approximately 1 year in maintenance or custodial services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to follow instructions, be a responsible individual, and a professional individual.
