Position Summary
Provides administrative and programmatic support to students, faculty, and staff in department-specific education programs.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates the application and onboarding processes for domestic and international students. Ensures immigration-related affairs are addressed appropriately and serves as a liaison with information technology, financial aid and student affairs as needed.
- Communicates and responds to inquiries from potential applicants, updates application guidelines, assists candidates with completion of applications, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines and verifies for accuracy.
- Coordinates processes surrounding student admissions. Assists with review meetings and meeting minutes. Facilitates admissions notifications.
- Responsible for tracking all student education activities and maintaining student records.
- Ensures payments related to student activities are processed accurately and timely.
- Coordinates form collection necessary for course registrations, capstone and graduation requirements.
- Coordinates internal and external networking, committee meetings and/or student events.
- Provides activity reports as needed. Creates detailed application reports weekly for departmental and graduate school leadership.
- Assists with recruitment, scheduling and outreach for the education program. Assists with the preparation of materials for external and internal program-related presentations. May need to present materials at meetings.
- Provides training to new staff and familiarizes them with program related systems and policies/protocols.
- Responsible for day to day administrative activities of the program including scheduling and coordinating meetings for program faculty and staff.
- May assist with the maintenance of program website and other promotional materials, including editing of promotional and branding materials.
Education
- High School Diploma
Experience
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Approximately 2 years of related work experience.
Experience in an academic research environment preferred.

- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications.
- Ability to multi-task and self-prioritize work.

- Demonstrates ability to exercise standards of professionalism, including appearance, presentation and demeanor.
