Salary Range: $38.76 - $45.05

Position Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Provides stakeholders with the status updates, issues, key activities and any changes to the scope of the overall project.
- Provides direction to other staff assigned to assist in the completion of tasks. Trains co-workers in the proper methods of completing trades work.
- Completes and submits a variety of service requests and preventative maintenance tasks indicating work performed and time and material spent.
- Develops scope of work for projects and identifies material and labor necessary. Obtains material pricing from vendors.
- Performs routine carpentry repair and installation work.
- Performs routine daily inspections of the architectural systems in assigned areas and records operational data. Interprets operational data and makes adjustments that improve performance/efficiency and/or resolve operational problems.
Education
- High School Diploma
Experience
Approximately 5-7 years of experience in general maintenance in a large institution or commercial facility with complex infrastructure systems, of which a minimum of 3 years is in carpentry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work on off-shifts as required to accommodate on-going operations and/or emergencies.
- Ability to be available for 24-hour emergency call-ins.
- Completion of carpentry trade school .
Licenses and Certifications
- Maintains individual New York City certifications necessary for the operation of various utility systems
