Position Summary

Provides administrative support to all activities related to medical students.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages the Sub-Internship Program for fourth year medical students.
  • Responsible for the reporting of general education teaching sessions performed in Clerkships & Sub-Internships.
  • Responsible for tracking all medical student education activities and maintaining student faculty records related to medical student teaching.
  • Manages the day to day of the department's undergraduate educational offerings.
  • Coordinates processes surrounding student elective programs. Assists with eligibility, registration, scheduling and/or the expansion and creation of new elective courses.
  • Coordinates student testing, evaluation and/or grading processes. If applicable, assists with the administration and proctoring of exams.
  • Collaborates with support staff at various college, departmental and hospital departments as needed.

Education

  • High School Diploma

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Approximately 3 years of related experience, preferably within the medical research field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to multi-task and self-prioritize work.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
