Position Summary
This position is responsible for creating and designing content and delivering data-driven analytics for the Dean's Office, supporting stakeholder communications and operational needs, and ensuring overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities
- Gathers analyses data, create visually appealing dashboards to support strategic and operational needs.
- Produces comprehensive reports, presentations, and documents for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contributes to tracking and monitoring of various projects and initiatives using creative and innovative ideas or applications.
- Participates in project management by providing insights on progress and making recommendations.
- Collaborates with functional leadership to gather and validate information and data.
- Produces a broad array digital and /or print communication materials to cater to the diverse requirements and broad audiences.
- Works closely with the unit-level administration teams to ensure smooth administrative workflows and communication.
- Participates in planning, coordinating, and executing major events, conferences, and workshops, ensuring readiness and logistical support.
- Analyses processes, policies, SOPs etc., and suggest improvements to maintain high standards of excellence.
- Support with planning and managing general aspects pertaining to operations in Dean’s office.
- Coordinates the financial administration process and tracks payments and invoices to monitor cost.
- Participates and oversees the overall documentation management process and record management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, data analytics, communications, or related field.
- 5 – 6 years of related experience.
- Previous experience in research, scientific or healthcare setup is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Previously demonstrated experience in using Power BI, Tableau or other data visualization tools.
- Previously demonstrated experience in report writing and strong presentation skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Strong customer orientation and a process improvement mindset.
- Advanced organization skills with an ability to prioritize tasks in a challenging environment.
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to work proactively and independently, as well as in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar was established in 2001 as a partnership between Cornell University and Qatar Foundation (QF).
